Artificial Intelligence

Training the AI

The AI at Innovation Assessments is good at comparing expository (informational) compositions. It was originally designed to help score summaries students write of assigned articles.

To train your AI for grading, begin by uploading your own composition to the "corpus". Next, browse your student submissions. Select the students who usually score full credit. Run the AI to compare it to yours. If the AI did not recognize it as full credit on comparison to yours, then add this student work to the corpus. Two to four of these models is usually enough to train the AI enough to help you grade.

You can save up to seven model answers for a task. Though student work submissions are only licensed for one year at this service, models you save in the corpus can be saved from year to year.
